Bill and I went to Barbara Nyby’s home of Red Cloud Whippets to see her litter by our Onyx. I fell in love with them and just had to have one. On the way home I suggested to Bill that we acquire one. Barbara was kind enough to let us co-own Sandy.

At her fist show, Western Hound Association of Southern California she went Best In Sweeps and on to a Group 2 at 6 months of age. One week later she won her first points. 1 year and 1 month later, Sandy went on to finish her championship, acquiring all but the last major from the puppy class. At the Kennel Club of Palm Springs weekend shows, six months from when she started, she finished her Championship and the next day was selected for first Award of Merit.

Sandy’s accomplishments are many at such a young age. She went on to a Group 1 over top specials and has group placements, all owner-handled. She is a lovely moving bitch with whippet type that judges have commented on.
